P4C (Philosophy for Children)

P4C (Philosophy for Children) is a vital part of Learning for Life at St Luke's.   In P4C children learn to raise their own questions and build on each other's ideas, thinking deeply about things that really matter to them.

Proud holders of the Sapere P4C Bronze Award, St Luke's is now leading a P4C project with seven other Islington schools.   With support from the Dame Alice Owen Foundation, we will be training teachers and teaching assistants, modelling P4C in class, and running inter-school Philosothon events.
