Primary School Admissions Dates to remember

Timetable for Primary Reception admission September 2026

• 15th January 2027 - Deadline to submit your online application
• 16th April 2027 - Offer day. Application results emailed to parents from 5pm onwards
• 30th April 2027 - Deadline to accept (or turn down) your school place
• 22nd May 2027 - Appeal deadline

Timetable for Secondary school admission dates to remember September 2025

• 23rd October 2026 - Recommended application return date
• 31st October 2026 - Application deadline 
• 27th November 2026 - Exceptional social/ medical application deadline
• 1st March 2027 - Offer day. Application results emailed to parents from 5pm onwards
• 15th March 2027 - Deadline to accept (or turn down) your school place
• 13th April 2027 - Appeal deadline for Islington community schools
