PE and Sports Premium

At St Luke’s Headteacher. School's Business manager and PE Lead ensure the funding we receive through our sports premium is spent for the purpose it has been provided: to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport and physical activity offered. As part of their role, governors monitor how the funding is being spent and determine how it fits into school improvement plans and assess the impact it is having on our pupils.

In 2024/2025 our school was given £17,710. A summary of this expenditure has been uploaded as a Digital PDF form. St Luke's used £17,500.

In 2025/2026 our school has been given £17500. An evaluation and action plan on how we intend to use the funding as well as a review of last year has also been included.  The evaluation for 24-25 as well as our action plan for 25-26 for our school can be found here:

Digital expenditure reporting return

From 2025, all primary schools including ours were asked to complete the digital expenditure reporting return for the 2024 to 2025 academic year. This included:

  • how the school has used its PE and sport premium
  • the impact the premium has had on achieving the aims and objectives of the funding

 The information gathered includes:

  • figures on the overall spend
  • what the funding has been spent on
  • whether there is any unspent funding
  • swimming and water safety attainment

We have published another version of this form below which includes information on Swimming attainment in 24-25.

In line with the guidance we have also kept our previous year’s written report  to allow comparisons to be made.
