Nursery Admissions Policy 2026-2027

 

 

Nursery Admissions Information

 

All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for fully funded 15 hours of nursery or childcare, and some working families are eligible for fully funded 30 hours.  We offer both 15 and 30 hours places to children in the term after their third birthday.

15 hours nursery

 

If you are not eligible for 30 hours, or do not wish to apply, you do not need register online, your child can attend nursery for 15 hours (half day).  We offer 15 hours as morning and afternoon sessions, term time only.

 

Morning sessions:          Start at 9:00                       End at 12:00

Afternoon sessions:       Start at 12:30                      End at 3:30

 

If you are not eligible for 30 hours but would like your child to attend for more than 15 hours, you will be able to pay for additional hours if required.  The current rate of charges for additional hours is £10 per hour. See charging policy above. Those attending for 30 hours, whether by eligibility or paid places can stay throughout the day and are entitled to a free lunch.

 

 

30 hours nursery

To see if you are eligible for 30 hours of nursery, you can check your eligibility online. If eligible, you will be issued with an ‘eligibility code’ which you will need to bring into school to confirm your application.

 

To access a space in our wonderful Nursery, please print and complete the registration form document as a first step. Alternatively, please collect a paper copy form our school office.

 

Applications can be made at any time. We admit nursery applactions three times per year, in September, January and April.
