School Clubs and wraparound care

Breakfast Club

St Luke's currently has a Breakfast Club every morning from 8:00am to 9:00am at a cost of £1.50.  Children should arrive before 8:30am.

We are currently full, but are looking at ways of expanding our capacity.  Please see the office if you would like to be added to the waiting list.

After School Care

St Luke's provide after-school care for all children from Nursery to Year 6.

Vicki and Tina are the ASC Playworkers and Anisa is the Manager.

Provision is provided from Monday to Thursday 3.30pm to 6pm and 3.30pm till 5.30pm on Friday at a daily rate of £7.00 and £5.00 for a sibling.
We also have a reduced rate for low income families earning less that £34,999.99. Proof of income will be required to assess your eligibility for the reduced rate.
Children are offered a range of activities including board games, arts and crafts, quiet corner, movie night and free play indoors and outdoors weather pending.
A healthy snack will be provided between 3.45pm and 4.15pm.
Your child must be collected on time, failure to do so will incur a £10 penalty fee on top of your daily fees. If your child does not attend ASC or 2 weeks without notification, we will automatically remove them from the ASC register. This is because there are limited places and a long waiting list.
For further information and a registration form please contact the school office.

Parents needing childcare after school can also access our Toffee Park drop off service for children over 6 - please see the office if you want to sign up for this.

Enrichment clubs

Enrichment clubs are now offered by St Luke's for children in Year 1 to Year 6.  They start at 3.45pm until 4.45pm and run from Monday to Thursday. The clubs are mainly run by St Luke's staff. Our clubs include: Homework, Street dance, Arts and crafts, Lego, Debate it....

The clubs rotate termly to provide children with a wide variety of experiences and opportunities. Some clubs may result in a performance or competitive match.

Once you have been allocated a space you can pay your fees to the school office. If you would like further information or are interested in registering your child for enrichment clubs, please see Anisa in the school office.

Right to Request

Parents of children from Reception to Year 6 have the 'right to request' that the school their child attends considers establishing wraparound and/or holiday childcare in order to help them work or to work for longer.  Following a consultation, we now provide wraparound care in the school.
