Spring Term 1 2025

This term year 1 will be focusing on writing instructions. We are exploring a book called 'The snail and the Whale'. The book focuses on a snail who want to go on an adventure and finds a friend to join her, unfortunately disaster hits when the Whale (her friend) is beached! Now we are thinking about how the Snail can help the Whale go back into the ocean. We are returning back to place value this term and adding to our knowledge. We will also be focusing on extending our knowledge on addition and subtraction. For Geography and History the children are focusing on the seas around the UK!
