We took a class trip to the Science Museum to help consolidate the children's leaning and add building blocks for future topics! We got real hands on experience in the Wonder Lab which really helped bring out pupils' inner scientist!
We went out the the park to collect data for our Living things and their habitats. This cross curricular out door lesson really helped embed the prior leaning while understanding the importance of being accurate and observant.
In Design and Technology we planned, researched, made and evaluated a night light cover for a child's room. We looked at what was required, what was already on the market, what materials would be suitable and were available to us. This really helped the class understand the process from an idea to a final product.
